There are two ways to watch on a Windows computer: a dedicated player for the full experience, or VLC if you simply want to confirm a line works.
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11
- Your login details
Step 1: Install a desktop player
Download the Windows version from the player's official site rather than a mirror, and run the installer.
If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, click More info then Run anyway. That notice appears for any installer Microsoft has not seen often, not just this one.
Step 2: Sign in with Xtream Codes
Open the app, choose Login with Xtream Codes API, and enter your username, password and server URL.
Step 3: Or just use VLC
Good for a quick test, though you get no TV guide and no films menu.
- Install VLC from videolan.org.
- Press Ctrl + N.
- Paste the M3U link and click Play.
- Press Ctrl + L for the channel list.
If something goes wrong
Black screen with sound
Update your graphics driver. Older Intel laptop drivers are the usual cause.
Stuttering on a laptop
Plug the charger in and set power mode to Best performance. On battery, laptops slow the processor down.
Nothing plays at all
Check the server address includes http:// and the port, with no trailing space.
Questions
Is there a Mac version?
Yes — most desktop players have one, and VLC works identically on macOS.
Can I use a browser instead?
Some providers offer a web player, which needs nothing installed at all. Ask yours.
Reseller tip: send this guide with the login, not after the customer asks. Most people who never got it working say nothing at all — they simply do not renew.
