IPTV Reseller Credits Explained: What One Point Buys
What a credit is, how plans use credits and how to work out your true cost per customer.
Read the guide →There is no single best IPTV reseller panel. There is the one that fits how you sell, priced so you can make a margin, run by a supplier who answers at 2am. The panels themselves look much alike. The suppliers behind them do not. These nine checks separate them before you hand anyone your money.
Read this knowing who wrote it. We sell reseller panels, so weigh our view accordingly. Every check below applies to us as much as anyone, and at the end we show how we answer each one.
Divide each package price by the credits in it. Every step up should cost less per credit than the one below. It sounds obvious, yet price lists where a mid-size pack works out dearer per credit than a smaller one are surprisingly common, usually because prices were changed one at a time.
Then work out what a customer costs you. If a credit costs $3.60 and a 12-month, one-device line uses 12 credits, that customer costs you $43.20 for the year. Everything you charge above that is your margin. Our margin calculator does this for any pack and any price.
Expiring credits turn a slow month into a loss. Ask directly, and get the answer in writing. If credits expire, a bigger pack is only cheaper if you are certain you will use it in time, which, early on, you are not.
Also ask whether there is a monthly panel fee on top. A fee you pay whether or not you sell changes the maths for a small reseller completely.
A trial closes more sales than any discount. The best IPTV reseller panel for a new seller is often simply the one with the most generous trial allowance, because every buyer can test before paying. Ask how many trial lines you get per day on each pack, how long each trial lasts, and whether trials use credits. They should not.
A supplier who is proud of their panel will show it to you: a screen share or a walkthrough on WhatsApp, a trial line created in front of you, and time for questions. If the only way to see the panel is to buy credits, treat that as a warning.
Your customers already have a favourite player. Each line should come with an Xtream Codes API login and an M3U playlist, so it works in IPTV Smarters, TiviMate, IBO Player and the rest. Check MAG box support too if you sell in Europe or the Middle East. Our app-by-app guide shows what each player needs.
This is the check that catches most bad suppliers. "100% uptime" is a red flag, not a selling point. No streaming service runs without interruption: servers need maintenance, upstream sources fail and networks have bad nights. A supplier who claims otherwise is either guessing or not telling you the truth.
Ask better questions instead. What happens when something goes down? How will you find out, before your customers or after? How quickly are lines that need resetting fixed? An honest answer to those is worth more than any percentage.
Same-day panel delivery is normal; "instant" usually means "automated, with nobody behind it". What matters more is support after you have bought. Send a question at an awkward hour before you buy and time the reply. That is the support you will get when a customer's line stops on a Saturday night.
Switching supplier means moving every customer, which is painful enough that most resellers put it off too long. Before you start, check the path upward:
Credits are consumed when a line is created, so refunds on used credits are rare anywhere. That is normal. What is not normal is a supplier with no written terms at all. Read them before you buy: what is refundable, what happens to credits if the supplier changes, and how disputes are handled.
| Check | Good answer | Red flag |
|---|---|---|
| Price ladder | Every bigger pack is cheaper per credit | A middle tier is dearer per credit |
| Expiry | Credits never expire, no monthly fee | Credits expire, or a panel fee on top |
| Trials | Daily allowance, no credits used | Trials cost credits, or none at all |
| Demo | Walkthrough before you pay | "Buy first, then you'll see" |
| Apps | Xtream Codes API and M3U on every line | One supported app only |
| Uptime | Honest about outages and response | "100% uptime guaranteed" |
| Support | A person replies out of hours | Tickets answered next week |
| Growth | Sub-resellers and white label available | No way up without switching |
| Terms | Written, specific, published | Nothing in writing |
Since we asked you to hold suppliers to these, here are our answers.
The one with a low entry price, credits that never expire and a generous daily trial allowance. Those three let you learn the business without losing money on unused stock or failed sales.
No. A low price per credit is worth nothing if lines keep dropping, because you lose the customer and every renewal after. Compare price only between suppliers that pass the other checks.
Only if you will use it soon. Even when credits never expire, money sitting in unused credits is money not spent on finding customers. Start with the pack you expect to use in a month or two.
Ask for a walkthrough, create a trial line, and watch it on your own device at peak time, ideally during a big live event. Then send a support question at an awkward hour and see how long the reply takes.
